Overview

Established as 60 beds THQ Hospital in 1980. Later, it was upgraded to 125 bedded DHQ Hospital in 199. Its bed strength increased to 250 (year 2017). Now, the Hospital has been upgraded to 310 bedded hospital in 2023. The Hospital is located on Kolo Tarar Road, Hafizabad. Total area of this hospital is 72 canals. The Hospital is providing services not only to residents of Hafizabad city but also serves as referral hospital for more than 11 lac people from District Hafizabad and adjoining villages as well. The Hospital is providing services in following departments:

The District Headquarters Hospital is headed by the Medical Superintendent (grade-18 officer). He is assisted by Additional Medical Superintendents, and New Management Structure (NMS) Officers. DHQ Hospital Hafizabad is Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) certified health facility. The hospital also has gained ISO-9001 certification from Direct Assessment Services (DAS).
